Are we a “screwed generation”? Maybe. (via newsweek)
We are also the entitled generation. The generation that thinks we deserve to have a high paying job because we went to college - even if our major was Old English Poetry. We are the first generation where college is expected and where blue collar jobs are seen as below jobs you can get after college. We are the generation graded on effort. We are also the generation who blames others when we fail. We are a lazy generation who thinks that everyone is special and that everyone is brilliant in their own way. We think the world should be handed to us simply because we spent four years studying a subject. Our generation needs to grow the fuck up and not expect so much because trust me - if you think we are entitled and lazy just wait until you see the next generation.
And side note: I lived in a one bedroom apartment in one of the most expensive areas of Boston on a 30 thousand dollar a year job. I was poor as balls but I never moved back in with my parents. I lived poor from 22 to 26 - it sucks but it’s a lot better than giving up.

Can we talk about how much I love this woman?
